Great Ape Protection and Cost Savings Act (S. 810/H.R. 1513)

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is proposing to move all of the surviving government-owned chimpanzees from the safety of their home in New Mexico to an invasive research lab in Texas. American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act

National Animal Rescue Day

International Animal Legislation

EU Commission Proposes Ban in Seal Products

The proposal, announced July 23 2008 by EU Environment Commissioner Mr. Stavros Dimas, comes after growing political opposition and a huge public outcry in the European Union about the ongoing commercial hunts for young seals.
