Tullivers Hosts NMHRS "Love-a-Bun" Adoption Event

Albuquerque, NM – February 1, 2011– In honor of Valentine's Day, Tullivers Natural Pet Food (7900 Carmel Ave NE) in Albuquerque and New Mexico House Rabbit Society are teaming up for their annual Love-a-Bun adoption event on Sunday, February 12 from 12-4pm.

NMHRS is promoting the event as an opportunity not only to meet "the bunny love of your life", but also a chance to find your single rabbit a special friend. To that end, the group will have several spayed or neutered bunny pairs and singles at Tullivers for the event and plenty of volunteers on-hand to explain the joys of having a pair of rabbits in the house.

Lost Cat Alert

New Book Released

¿CUANTOS PERROS? HOW MANY DOGS?
by Bam Schildkraut

¿Cuantos Perros? How Many Dogs? is a read-out-loud romp through numbers 1-10 with a pack of playful pooches. Simple verses use the English and Spanish words for numbers. The short rhymes literally roll off the tongue (can you say perros?) and children quickly learn to count and woof aloud with each verse. The rhymes and illustrations focus on positive interactions between dogs and people. From the wraparound cover to the last page, the illustrations of the 55 dogs and one cat are vivid, active and humorous. Children will delight in finding the friendly little cat hidden in every illustration as they count their way through the book.

For more information on the book, visit the author's website at www.bamschildkraut.com.
