'You Oughta Be in Pictures' Photo Contest

FIRST PLACE WINNER

This year's contest brought in many entries that made us smile in recognition of various animal attitudes. They also made it difficult to select a winner. But, the judges finally made their decision. Ginger is our winner because she made us all laugh when we needed a laugh. The second winner, Toonsis, and the two third place winners, Milo and Gus, are featured on the front of this issue's Animal Lovers' Resource Guide.

We want to thank everyone who sent in a photo. Without you there would be no contest. A special thank you and recognition goes to Ellen Hutchins of Tulliver's Pet Food Emporium in Santa Fe and Albuquerque who prepared a gift basket for our first place winner, Deborah Openden and her dog, Ginger of Albuquerque.

Second and third place winners received cool PETroglyphs prizes from Cafepress.com.
